BioSignal explains what the science says. It does not tell you what to do about your own health — that is a conversation for you and a qualified clinician.

BioSignal is not medical advice

The information on BioSignal is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading BioSignal does not create a doctor–patient or any other professional relationship.

Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you have about a medical condition, a symptom, a medication, a supplement, or a change to your diet, exercise, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.

In an emergency

BioSignal is not designed for medical emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on BioSignal for urgent or time-sensitive medical needs.

Your situation is individual

Evidence describes what tends to happen across studied populations. It cannot account for your personal history, medications, conditions, genetics, or circumstances. A finding that is well-supported in general may be inappropriate, or even harmful, for a specific individual. Only a clinician who knows your situation can translate general evidence into a personal recommendation.

Supplements, peptides, and medications

Many interventions BioSignal reviews — including supplements, peptides, and prescription medications — carry real risks, interactions, and side effects, and their regulatory status varies by country and changes over time. Some are experimental, unapproved, or available only through a licensed clinician. A BioSignal record describing an intervention is never an endorsement, a recommendation to use it, or guidance on how to obtain or dose it.

  • No recommendations. BioSignal reports evidence and confidence. It does not tell you to start, stop, or change any supplement, peptide, or medication.
  • Regulatory status changes. Approval and anti-doping status differ by jurisdiction and are updated over time — always confirm current status with an authoritative source and your clinician.
  • Adjunct, not replacement. Evidence-based interventions support, and never replace, care from a qualified professional.
